MAX LED LIGHT THERAPY

At SkintifiX, we’ve been obsessed with LED light therapy since day one, and for good reason! It’s one of the most effective and versatile tools in our skin-health arsenal.

Whether you’re battling breakouts, chasing that lit-from-within glow, or just giving your skin a much-needed boost, LED is the go-to treatment you didn’t know you needed.

Not all LED devices are created equal. We use MAX+ LED, a state-of-the-art system known for its wavelength precision and unparalleled results. This technology, fondly known as ‘Max”, is known for wavelength precision (vital for true cellular rejuvenation) and cellular response time, delivering exactly what your skin needs to thrive:

  • Red Light (633nm): Stimulates collagen, elastin, and circulation for firmer, plumper skin.
  • Blue Light (415nm): Targets acne-causing bacteria and balances oil production for clearer skin.
  • Yellow Light (590nm): Reduces redness, boosts healing, and calms sensitive skin.
  • Infrared Light (830nm) Penetrates deeply to boost circulation, tissue repair, and overall skin health.

With ‘Max’, your skin absorbs this targeted light energy, triggering cellular renewal and creating an ideal environment for healing and rejuvenation. Combined with Corneotherapy and dermaviduals skincare, LED takes your skin results to the next level.

What is LED Light Therapy, and how does it work?

LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to penetrate below the skin’s surface, energising the cells and stimulating natural processes like collagen production, circulation, and cell repair. Think of it as a gym session for your skin cells - minus the sweating!

What can LED light therapy treat?

LED is incredibly versatile and can tackle a range of skin concerns, including:

Acne and congestion
Inflammation and redness
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven skin tone and texture
Dull, dehydrated skin
Sensitive, reactive, or barrier-impaired skin

Is LED therapy safe?

Absolutely! LED light therapy is completely non-invasive, UV-free, and safe for all skin types and conditions. It’s so gentle that it’s even suitable for sensitive skin, rosacea, and post-treatment recovery.

What’s the science behind the colours of LED?

Each colour represents a specific wavelength of light, and each wavelength offers unique benefits:
Red Light (633nm): Boosts collagen and elastin, improves circulation, and reduces fine lines.

Blue Light (415nm): Targets acne-causing bacteria and helps calm breakouts.
Yellow Light (590nm): Reduces redness and inflammation, improving overall skin tone.
Infrared Light (830nm): Penetrates deeper to repair tissues, improve circulation, and support skin health.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

You’ll notice an immediate glow after just one session. However, consistent treatments lead to longer-lasting results. For best results, we recommend a series of weekly sessions or incorporating LED into your regular facial routine.

Does LED light therapy hurt?

Not at all. LED therapy is completely painless. In fact, most clients find it incredibly relaxing, and some even fall asleep during their sessions!

Can LED light therapy be added to other treatments?

Yes! LED is a fantastic add-on to enhance any facial or skincare treatment. It works synergistically with Corneotherapy and dermaviduals products, boosting hydration, repairing your barrier, and improving the absorption of serums and moisturisers.

How long does a session take?

We offer flexible treatment times to suit your schedule, starting from our 25-minute MAX add-on.

Is there any downtime after LED therapy?

Nope. LED therapy is entirely non-invasive, so there’s no downtime. You can head straight back to your day with glowing skin.

Can everyone use LED light therapy?

LED is suitable for almost everyone, but there are a few exceptions. It’s not recommended for:

Pregnant individuals
Those with photosensitivity (light sensitivity)
People with pacemakers

Let your therapist know about any health conditions during your consultation.
